The Attorney General responded to our request for information from the DNR.

 

The short version.

 

The DNR said they would not give us the information we asked for, that being all public Excel worksheets dealing with the Republican River Basin unless we paid them $750 dollars.  We objected and asked the AG to force a release under more reasonable terms.

 

The AG agreed with us that the DNR was overcharging and asked the DNR to reduce their charge to $339.  The DNR consented to the AG request.

 

We also asked for the same information on behalf of the Imperial Republican open records request that was more extensive than ours.  The AG said that the Imperial Republican needed to make the request directly to AG for the AG to act.
